I've just started binge watching "The Walking Dead" on Netflix and though I can't say I enjoy watching the putrifying zombies as much as for example vampires or demons, I discovered today that zombies like... started to somehow... grow on me The same as I enjoyed playing "The Last of Us" several years ago. Though the walkers from "The Walking Dead" (in Polish we call the TV show just "living corpses" though the very title didn't get translated per se) do move so fast - quite unlike some of the infected from "The Last of Us". I used to know online some Finnish dude from WP who LOVED zombies and I think I like them too now

What is your most favorite postapocalyptic sort of world? One with zombies like in "The Walking Dead"? One in which everybody died of the superflu like in "The Stand" by King? I think I like (in spite of my newly discovered love for zombies) the "flu world" most because the dead bodies just lay around in there and not walk around

Btw, recommend to me some cool zombie literature/movies I think I read just once such a book - a humorous cute book entitled "The Lament of Zombie" (not sure though if that was the original English title because I read it in Polish).

I love zombies. 28 Days Later is a good zombie movie.

I zombie movies and video games! Especially the more retro stuff.

I love the classics by George Romero like Night of the Living Dead and Day of the Dead, plus some of the old Italian zombie movies by Lucio Fulci and Bruno Mattei like Zombie (aka Zombi 2), The Beyond, and Hell of the Living Dead (aka Night of the Zombies). The last one was more of a "so bad its good" kinda movie.

As for video games I've been playing Resident Evil games since I was a kid in the 1990's. I also used to enjoy playing The House of the Dead and CarnEvil once in awhile.

Back when I had an Xbox 360 I also enjoyed the Left 4 Dead games.

Oh and who can forget the Thriler music video with those dancing zombies?

I don't love zombies per se (not as much as vampires at least ) but still, I do find the idea of living in such a world fascinating

I used to think I was the only one with a fantasy about surviving in a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies.

My fantasy is that I survive in a world desolated by the superflu like from Stephen King's novel In such a world, the dead just lay around like any other good, well behaving corpse and not walk around. My online buddy from the Polish aspie board, shares a similar fantasy with us, too.
