God sent Trump and a plague already. I'm not sure there's any god on their side. :P

God is dead. Hail Satan!

YHWH has always been a demon.

Satan would be an upgrade.

Actually 'YHWH' aka God was originally created out of combining a Caananite war god with a storm deity named El who was adopted into early Judiasm (and as a byproduct became the God of Christianity) at a time when they were actually polytheistic before abandoning other deities like Baal and Asherah. They somehow got the idea to create one supreme deity and destroy all traces of their other gods, one they could pray to for victory in war against their surrounding enemies and for rain to grow their crops and feed themselves.

So Yahweh is technically a God with 'pagan' roots (for lack of a better term), and there's actual evidence to support this if you dig around online. But good luck convincing either the religous fundies or the lazy atheists who still judge things through a Christian lens of this fact. :nerdy:

The Iran War is being drug on as a military action not a War . to protect straight of Hormuz, So when the time is right
And Mr Rump , needs to invoke the War Powers act . He will false flag a Iranian terror attavk on the USA or just outright declare a full scale War on Iran . Only then can he invoke the War Powers Act to sllow him to suspend ejections ,giving him ,one more term.. These are the facts , i feel . Most likely possibly try to suspend congress also?

The storm god in question is named Hadad but often referred to with the honorific Ba'al, which means Lord. The one who defeated the serpent Lothan (aka Leviathan).

Because the YHWH cult refers to Ba'al as a demon it's only fair to refer to his Temu version as a demon as well.

I feel like "demon" (from the Greek Word "daimon" which meant "spirit") can mean many things depending on the context. Sometimes Demons can be Gods who were designed to be malefic from the very start like the evil Mesopotamian Goddess Lamashtu, and other times they can be Divine Beings that fell from grace and became corrupted into something sinister like the Greco-Roman God Pan with his goat head becoming the iconic image for the Christian Devil.

Perhaps we're witnessing something similiar happen with the God of Abraham? A lot of modern types don't seem to think highly of him anymore and seem him and his followers as a symbol of ignorance, hatred, and bigotry.

People are either turning to alternative new age beliefs like neopaganism or even satan ism or they are simply becoming atheists.

But Christianity and even Judiasm have taken a hit no doubt in recent years because their morals and values dont translate well into modern times.

So in a way you are right, God aka "Yahweh" is becoming Demonized.

I agree with your take there, but what I'm saying is more straightforward, that since YHWH and Ba'al appear to be the same entity, the YHWH cult can't demonize the latter without it being an admission about the former.

You could replace YHWH and Ba'al with Jupiter and Zeus. A Jupiter worshipper can't demonize Zeus without that also being a comment on Jupiter; even if they insist Jupiter is a totally distinct being he really isn't.

That's another good point too. In fact from what I understand about Judiasm the Jewish don't view God and The Devil as seperate sworn enemies of "good and evil". The Devil is actually more like a servant of Yahweh whose job is to test faith. So in that sense God and The Devil (Baal, Beezlebub, Satan, Lucifer, Lilith, etc whatever they call it) really ARE one in the same. Because in the Jewish faith good and evil all came from their idea of one creator deity.

So yeah, we can agree on that. :)

All very good and all , myths have their places , but as the older movie called it , And the book it was made from Starring Harrison Ford. , given the present day circumstances ,regarding mr Rump we actually have a real life
"Clear and Present Danger "by Tom Clancy . Its almost like theater art ( fiction ) reflecting real life. 8O

Why couldn't they choose one of the nice gods like the goddess of fertility or the god of increased crop yields, to promote to their monotheós?

Worship, Jehovah. NEVER!! ! I'll take my chances as an agnostic. I think THIS is hell on earth. I have only 1 bible and I only keep it because my dearly departed parent gave it to me ... otherwise ... I'd just donate it to the goodwill. God is IN you already.

**hint** the secret :)

In ancient times they really didnt have a lot of true "nice' gods by our modern standards.

Even the Gods and Goddesses that reigned over crops and rain could at times be very cruel and callous towards humanity. Like when Demeter stopped producing the harvests that fed hunanity and caused a global famine because her daughter was kidnapped.

You have to understand how ancient humans viewed the world around them in those days. Every day was a struggle for survival and life was often too short.

Crops could fail and rain could turn into devestating storms.

Basically what I'm saying is that there's never been a truly 100% "nice" Deity invented by the human mind in any culture. And that can be applied to the God of Abraham aswell.

Some days he's in a good mood and helps free the Hebrew Slaves from their Egyptian oppressors, other days he's burning down Sodom and Gomorroah and sending his chosen people to slaughter every man, woman, child, and animal in Jericho.

I think that the Gods were born not so much out of a need for humans to feel loved but more out of a need to explain why s**t always happens in this world.
