Is Billy Woods the Maynard (Keenan) of Rap?

As far as being a really sick writer in particularly introspective way? I can't think of anyone else who fills that accolade better. Woods tunes are tunes you need to sit with and quite often listen to quite a few times to pick apart what's there. There's key distinctions like Maynard playing more specifically with spiritual and depth-psychological motifs, Woods is more complex social systems and fall-throughs, existentialism, African colonialism, and Frantz Fanon but the depth of quality and how much you can get out of both vocalists I think stands at a similar height.

Also as a bonus: something that Kenny Segal, Woods, Elucid, Benjamin Booker, and Joseph Maul (videographer) crushed - complete with Iranian Sufi throat-singing. It's a long player though:

I also absolutely can't short-change ELUCID. He does these three to five word traunches really well, right up there with Woods.
