Sometimes I go through phases where I hate being a woman, then there a phases where I'm indifferent and then there are times where I love being a woman. Gender is a funny little thing.

I wish I had more female friendships. For the record, I'm not saying that because I would like to find a girlfriend someday. I just mean in general. It would be nice to have more female friends. I'm not being weird.

Nice to know I'm not alone on that one. ^

Going for a bra fitting tomorrow. I've never been professionally fitted before but I think my attempts at measurements are off, so it would be good to find a bra that fits better.

Traded trinkets with my friends at a festival today, nearing the end of the trading, i offered up a menstrual pad and my friend gladly traded a dime for it.
Both friends (afab and amab) and i found it wildly funny

So... about manicures... I don't get them often, but my mom insisted me to get one this last week since I was going to a job fair the next day. Am I the only one who finds them very uncomfortable sensory-wise? I'm not talking about painful which they are (perhaps because I get them done so rarely?) but the feeling of the nail filer and the electric filer(?) they use to smooth the top of the nails. Ughhh that feeling is so... ugh. I just hate it. D: But I love having had manicures done. My nails are sooo smooth and shiny right now. lol

I don't have a particular sensory issue related to doing nails.

Not even the quasi-surgery types that can make someone bleed on accident (procedures used to rid of hang nails, in growns and close call parts)
But that's just me and my reaction to pain.


I do my nails every other week or so.
Filing and scrapping a layer of my nail; I only don't like it if I'm not in a particular state to be patient enough to do so.

I've never had a manicure but I don't think I would be able to tolerate one. I can't even file my own nails because it's such an unpleasant sensation.

well today I came to the conclusion that I should got to a planned parenthood clinic to adress my awful periods like some days on it I feel so much in pain its hard to do anythiing and well with trying to get working regularly I dont nessisarily want to take sick days because my period hurts too much. So idk I do want to look into if there is a way to reduce periods or like idk get out of some of the symptoms. LIke to the rest of women do you feel its normal to have a couple super painful days with your period or does that seem like something could be off....or like am I just being a big cry baby about it.

I thought that what I was experiencing was normal for a long time. It turned out that I had ovarian cysts and endometriosis. I’m currently on Mirena to help with that stuff, and it’s made a huge difference to my quality of life. I don’t get periods anymore while I’m on it, not that it’s right for everyone like anything else. I think talking to your doctor about your symptoms is a good idea. Even if there’s no condition that’s causing the symptoms, at this point in my life, I think pain is an issue in and of itself that’s worth addressing. Just my two cents.

Some peeps like pads some like tampons...much less issues healthwise for me with Pads ....just a thought

sometimes an older ewe feels the lambing coming, when the occasion is there she may 'steal' another newborn ahead of time, which leads to chaos and eventually, at least, one lamb gets abandoned
also quite regularly when the doubles are of different genders there's a greater risk of abandoning the female lamb or sometimes straight up destroying it
