you fail, if you meant 'possibly' in a way which indicated that these 'younger aspies' werent less intelligent you would not have brought up the intelligence aspect at all. By simply bringing it up you are implying that the so called 'spammers' are younger and less intelligent, else why bother to mention it. you fail, good day.

I don't think you're seeing this in context. What I said was in response to what Jenova had written, which I didn't fully understand. She made reference to someone attacking someone, and I didn't see that at all. I opened a discussion about a behavior. I felt she attacked me and other HFAs. I didn't retaliate, I simply defended my actions.

I gotta tell ya', I never expected this thread would generate so much response. It's obviously an issue of interest to a large number of people from both points of veiw. Do you think we could refrain from talking about people and talk about behaviors and ideas instead?

I wouldn't worry about jenova, he's just a sockpuppet someone too afraid to express their views personally.

Jenova wrote me a long pm explaining issues with OWA. Its just his Aunt. We got
these witchhunts going on here labeling people with subjective words that mean they should be banned (sockpuppets, trolls, spammers).

If a person is in violation of the TOS they should be warned or banned. The person
that makes 100% the judgement is Alex. He is a fair person that will judge each case
on a case by case basis. He is unlikely to bend one way or another to our wishes on
this.

Also, maybe we could refrain from unsubstantiated characterizations like "sockpuppet" and "not really an aspie."

I hope this isn't considered spam, because as of yet I still have nothing useful to contribute.

I hate like hell to attack my own position here, but once in awhile, you gotta be honest. I've been leaning toward the opposite conclusion. Yeah, there's been a lot of posts on this thread, but they're pretty much all from the same people. There's several dozen people who post regularly on this site, and I haven't seen too many of them in this thread.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe this isn't a much bigger issue for me than it is for most other people. I'm only a tiny fraction of this community. There's a lot of other people here whose opinions are worth just as much as mine, and the vast majority of them aren't complaining like I've been.

Maybe I've just been around less lately, but I don't seem to run into near as much of the stuff I'd call spam outside of the threads where it's obvious I should just stay away if I'm not interested. If you people are restraining yourselves out of respect and consideration, that's a hell of a decent thing to do.
