Yeah, I agree and have tried saying so multiple times, but some people are focusing on the rare exception to the rule rather than the blatantly obvious.

Even if he could somehow be decent, no one is in a position to date as soon as they get out of prison or when they are still in prison. Maybe if they get their s**t completely together after a year or two minimum, it could be a possibility.

I don't think it's a good sign that he's pursuing someone now. He should know that he's in no position to date anyone. I doubt he's that extremely rare exception that could be datable down the road.

Two years for vandalism is likely a plea down from an arson charge. OP should keep lighters and matches out of reach.

Well we don't know, do we?

In the US, arson is a very serious charge although there may be different degrees as is the case with murder. OP has seen a background report, perhaps they can share. I doubt the guy is any sort of arsonist, however I fear he may have violent tendencies. That would be my concern. The OP needs IRL support in dealing with this situation and I fear that's lacking.

most of society finds it more shocking to hear of a woman still a virgin by a certain age compared to a guy, especially if involuntary, should be obvious.

It's not my fault I haven't had sex yet

I have been pushed back 3 years because of having to be my mom's caretaker that I am only NOW starting the journey to find love!

But I will make sex happen!

Somehow...

Unfortunately my brother most likely won't let me or like it if I went to a hotel or something with a guy overnight to "do the deed"
