Found a game that fits the bill- 007 quantum of solace. Hard as heck and plenty of sneaking and stuff. Has sniping sections too. It's third person as well. It isn't the perfect storm but I enjoy playing it. I'll start getting through the ones you guys suggested after I beat this one. I'm stuck on the last guy. This game is brutal.

Sounds like Fallout 3 would fit the bill there is shooting, sniping, sneaking, zombies, monsters and a lot more. Also maybe Chronicles of Ridick which is a highly praised stealth game, and snipind definetly is a part of it, though it is not always a gun based since you on occasion get striped and some of the guns the enemy use cant be used.

Haven't heard about Chronicles of riddick in awhile. What console is that for? Going to google fallout 3 after I post this.

You could try Scarface The World Is Yours it's a 3rd person shooter and there a lot of unlockables - although it doesn't contain much sniping. It's a very good, fun and action-packed game though. Hope this helps. :)
