^^ I personally believe that there is nothing the matter with the Worgen mount. ^^ Also, if an individual does not like the mount, I believe it is very possible for them to gain a differing mount in a number of ways, via gaining reputation with cities, or playing within the PvP battlegrounds.

In a recent patch, you were able to purchase any mount from any race in your faction. Nothing like seeing a night elf perched on the back of a mechanostrider...

^^ Yaye I see, may I ask, is this independent of reputation? Or does one still require to be exalted with the race's capital city?

I play a Belf Protection Paladin and a Orc Hunter as my two main characters... I have mad altitis as well so I have like 5 80's >.> ... Everything I've heard has totally renewed my interest in the game. I loved the old world and this whole destroy it to revamp it deal sounds awesome to me... Plus Heroic Shadow Fang Keep? I love SFK and Arugal so that sounds really rad. I think I'm gonna have to roll a Worgen alt for fun though they seem way too nifty not to play around with....really wish Horde got them. My biggest question though is why don't goblins have a Engineering Specialty? Alchemy just seems wrong.... this has absolutly nothing to do with the fact that I love engineering >.> ... yah... ROCKET BOOTS!

They get engineering related racials instead... This seems much more in touch with the fact that ANY goblin can make use of some engineering, whereas not ALL goblins are alchemists.... (but some of them are because of the relation to goblin engineering which requires goblin rocket fuel). And i don't know if you ever played Alliance, but they have MUCH more worgen (apart from maybe Silverpine forest ones) related quests than the Horde does... Alliance has a chain with them in Ashenvale and in Duskwood to start with, both of which are worgens unrelated to Arugal (at least, so it's been said). And besides, the Forsaken do send you to kill worgen in the first place in Silverpine forest, don't they? You think they'd allow something like humans (or something that can take human form) to cooperate with them? =/ I think not.

Horde gets a gnome sized race, not interested.
Alliance gets a cool shape shifting werewolf like race, nice and fair that.

Guild leveling. ripped off from Aion to my knowledge, possibly ripped off from an even earlier game.

More old gods which really seem to be forced into the warcraft universe.

Another profession (archaeology) which opens another glyph system (that makes it mandatory if you're going to raid)

Gee blizzard finally figured out that hunters and mana aren't fun.

For some reason I'm just not excited about this expansion. yes there are some cool features coming in but most of them seem to be imports of other systems already being implemented in other games. I've known it for a while now I guess, but Cataclysm really drives it home. Blizzard doesn't do original work, they just polish what someone else has already done. And ActivisionBlizzard has become one of the most evil companies in the game industry.

None of this is "forced" into the lore. Deathwing, the expansion's main focus, was present back in WarCraft II.

I have mixed feelings about the new xpac. I've actually just considered not buying it but playing at a friend's apartment just simply to make a worgen and morph a few times and call it good. Some of the new models and artwork look great though! So for those of you that are wanting to play I hope it's a good as BC was. (WolK was kind of meh)

Wow, I only just heard about this. So they're making Worgen a playable race? That seems very strange, considering all the worgen in the game are evil and were created by Arugal who is evil too. Why would they join the Horde?

Actually, the goblins are joining the horde, worgen are joining the alliance.

I am not one to run out and buy an expansion.. so I usually miss out on all the cool stuff they nerf once they realize it unbalances the game.

I switch between EQ2 (Nekthous<sp>) and WoW (Moon Guard). I get bored with one, jump to the next. We even dropped from MMOs for about 2 years because of burnout. I will see what the new expansion does to the face of Azzorath<sp> I will most likely buy it about 4 months after it somes out.

My family plays too. So these new expansions are a bit costly to keep the 3 of us up to date.

Oh, the surface of Azeroth is being destroyed for everyone. The only reasons to get the new xpac will be because you have a lvl 80 and want to get to 85, or because you want to play one of the new races.

Well, I'm stoked. The lore is what they want it to be, it's just a game. I'm so bored with Azeroth that I am going to love seeing things shaken up. The new races leave me cold. I might check them out, I dunno. Anyway, it's all nice and dramatic and exciting and that's good enough to me. Since I have no guild, don't team or raid or run dungeons, I need something to keep it lively. And in the FAQ they said that they're only going up 5 levels this time because they figured they'd like to put some work into updating things for levels besides the top ones, that only those at the very top were getting anything fresh each time. So they went with something huge! My daughter isn't thrilled, but mind you, she's young and I don't want her playing much anyway. She didn't like the screenshots of Auberdine getting splattered across the coast. I loved it.

But then, I've got a lvl 80 belf hunter.

Heh, a Moon Guard player eh, same here. Are you Horde or Alliance . . . if you're Alliance, "I apologize for any inconvenience my [horde character's] murderous rampage may have caused."

It's a good server. One of the better role-playing servers I'm told (well if we could get rid of Goldshire & most of the BloodElfs). What I play depends on what mood I am in.. but most the time I play my Hunter. I just started playing again a few weeks ago... picked up WOTLK at the begining of the month. I'm suffereing a bit from EQ burnout, so It's hard to get back into the game.
