I am just like that-- I love Zeppelin and Michael Jackson, too. :)

I like Metal (Iron Maiden), 80's Goth (The Cure, Sisters of Mercy), so much music from the 1980's, The Beatles, T-Rex, good Hip-Hop (De La Soul, Cannibal Ox), Classical music, 30's/40's Jazz, Motown, Prince, The Smiths, Techno. Much more.

I like a wide variety of music, as long as its good. I'm kind of a music snob though(I can't stand cheesy or over-produced music, most of which is representative of current mainstream pop and rock music).

I do have a last.fm account which shows most of the artists that I listen to: Last.fm profile

I also have a station on a cool website called blip.fm: Blip.fm account

The majority of stuff I like is dance/electronica, but I also listen to a little pop, rock and hip-hop.

Does it keep track of what you play on Winamp :?: I mite would freak people here out cuz some of my music is not exactly PG appropriate & the stuff that is; seems kind of wrong for a guy my age to like it

@nick007 Yes, last.fm does keep track of what you play on Winamp. You just have to create a dree account and download the last.fm scrobbler and your all set. Also, there is a Wrong Planet group on last.fm. Blip.fm is very different. You basically search their database for songs to 'blip' on your page. You are in a sense a DJ. You can also write messages if you want of 150 characters just like twitter. It is so addicting for me. I have over 1600 people who have stumbled upon my page at one time or another. Also, you can re-blip what someone has already posted and you can give props to other DJs for a song that they blipped that you liked. And you can reply to DJs in your blips as well. It's almost like twitter but with props and music. You should definitely check both out.

Genres I listen to all the time:
- Steampunk (Abney Park, The Clockwork Dolls, The Clockwork Quartet, The Cog is Dead, Unextraordinary Gentlemen, Voltaire)
- Riot Grrrl/feminist punk (Babes in Toyland, Seven Year B!tch, Jack Off Jill, Le Tigre)
- Female power pop (Lady Gaga, Madonna, Janelle Monae, The Donnas, La Roux)
- Oldies (The Beatles, Hall & Oats, The Supremes, Brewer and Shipley, Jackson Browne)

Those are definitely the Big Four, but I also like some artists that don't fit into those genres, such as Bowling for Soup, the Clash, Tori Amos, Kimya Dawson, and The Birthday Massacre.

I really like pop-punk, which a lot of people mistakenly call emo because a lot of emo kids listen to it. I also listen to a little bit of dance rock, like Cobra Starship.

people can hit play with each song that you listen to on blip.fm. last.fm just shows what music you are listening to at the current moment. last.fm al has radios that you can listen to as well. there's your personal recommendation's radio and "enter artist name" radios. it's great for discovering new music.

I like a lot of that as well & I call it EMO sometimes depending on what site I'm on. I'm not into that culture group but I do like that music & I like EMO women

My favorite music rite now bedsides the comedy stuff is any female artist who was involved with Disney, Nickelodeon or won American Idol(I never watched that show thou). When I was in high-school I listened to a lot of stuff like K0Rn & Eminem. My taste is music may of gotten immature & regressed backwards but I'm much happier :D

I haven't checked Last or Blimp out yet but I will in next few days

Celtic music is my favorite. However, I also listen to classic rock, & even some contemporary stuff.

Gothic metal (e.g. Within Temptation), pop, R&B, and traditional African and Native American music are probably my favorite genres.
