Why do they do it!! !! !! !
I have a very strong body clock and it takes me at least a week to adjust and I just feel so tense I could burst. None of my family understand how difficult this is for me. Anyone else out there know what I'm talking about?

Yes, it messes up my body clock for a few weeks, and I don't sleep properly. If they could do it by five minutes a week over a couple of months, it would help.

I think this whole DST thing is outdated and useless, needlessly confusing and economically wasteful.

Plus I just don't like it.

Mid winter, how many daylight hours do you get where you are?

About 5 hours here pretty down south. That part of Sweden that is above the arctic circle has 0 hours daylight in mid winter. The sun never rises over the horizon.

daylight savings time is kindof pointless, because you're not actually gaining more time. Maybe people should just adjust their schedules in the winter. But I do like the extra hour of sleep, it does feel like you're getting extra time. But you have to lose that hour in the spring, so it all evens out.

In Australia,Queensland is the only state in the nation that does not have day-light saving. We are are at end of spring and it is coming into summer. The birds begin to wake up at 3.30 am and the sun is comes up at 5.00 am.When it is summer the sun comes up at 4.00 am.In summer the sun sets at 7.00 pm.Personally,I can't see the point of daylight saving.
