I'd still like to know what the actual insulting comments were...

I've been insulted before, defended myself with honesty, and even found a compromise and connection with the very same person as a result.

I'm not saying its easy, but honestly, give it a go, share your problem calmly, and truthfully, and we'll see what we can do about it.

Sure I would love to know the details of why she wants this blocking feature, but
in fairness she is mainly just suggestioning a feature for the site so we should just
leave her alone.

Look keep in your mind at all times if your an aspie:

1) We say the wrong things often.

2) We miss-understand what others ment often

Its very natural and 99.9% of us aspies are just like Cheese. Though I think some of us know more than others that we have those above two problems. So keep talking
people just do not get shocked when conflicts happen.

I actually think this should be seriously implemented, this forum used to have an ignore function.. why was it taken off?
There certainly is about 10 or so people i'd like to stick on ignore.. and some me.

If it makes the site a less nasty place then it's for the better.

There's been a few times where a post made me cry because it's so mean.

I hope it was nothing I said. But you aren't an attention whore, troll or spammer so it probably wasn't. Who was it?

Nothing was directed towards me, but just the mean things people say to others.

Something tells me 14 year old boys will be on most peoples ignore list. :D

Myself I doubt I would ever use such a feature. I have extreme inattentive ADHD and
my mind will simply not let me read posts I'm not interested in.

I tend to enjoy correcting annoying/crude posts..

I doubt I would block anyone except those that continue to turn debates into insult tournaments.

I heard on another post Alex made that he is moving WP to new advance forum software in the near future. So my guess you can expect such blocking function at the soonest when the over all system is upgraded.

Others have had problems with young people making what they call "spam" posts.
So I'm all for the blocking feature. It could serve both people those who do not want
to be expose to certain peoples posts. And those people who will be blocked could
avoid being banned. Thus banning would be very rare in the future.
