I'm wondering if I have Avoidant Personality Disorder...

Depending on who I'm with, I either look like an outgoing kid with ADHD, but generally I prefer to be withdrawn into my own little world. I'm wondering if I have Avoidant Personality Disorder.
What doesn't make sense about this label of "avoidant personality" is that I only avoid people if I don't like their personality or if I'm just not in the mood. If I feel comfortable around a group of people though, then suddenly I'm very extroverted.
I'm confused
or maybe there is some undiagnosed autistic element involved, I don't know, I'm going to have lots of questions when I see my psychiatrist (for the first time) this coming Monday.

No, you most likely don't have AvPD. People with Avoidant Personality Disorder will avoid people they even like. And the reason isn't simply a matter of being socially burdened or socially nervous. It's an issue of persistent worthlessness and inferiority despite lots of testimonies to the contrary. They cannot believe for long that any person would want to be with them. And the persistent belief that we're just with them because we're doing them a favor out of kindness and pity rather than because we actually happen to like them.
Most people with autism do indeed tend to avoid a lot of people out there (me included). The difference, though, is in the reasoning. I don't avoid people I like quite a lot and with whom I feel I can spend lots of time without much discomfort. The person with AvPD on the other hand would generally avoid practically anyone.
That said, it's quite possible for a person to have both autism and AvPD.
I feel similar at time some days my friends will say come join us but I can't be bothered... it's not that I don't want to I'm just not feeling comfortable enough to enjoy peoples company I would much rather sit alone and be able to get comfortable and enjoy my space bubble
I would sometimes love to have a forest of some sort to escape to you know?
