Given that I'm only about 100km from Cockney's probable location (greater vancouver metro area-ish), the weather here's about the same... we just get it an hour or so sooner.
Seems like it's been raining nonstop since, jeez, mid-October? Few dry breaks here n there, some snow, lots of windstorms, but mostly just rainy, breezy and cold.
Frankly I'm getting a little tired of it... I miss summer.

edit... just started raining again

Its 'mild' at about 5 degrees and very dry. Considering I'm much North from where I used to live (SW Ontario, now in Alberta (south central)) its very odd. Shinooks come in and warm everything up :)

It's been so wet and stormy in the UK that most of the open air New Year celebrations
apart from London had to be cancelled. In Edinburgh the city council made their decision
to cancel after they saw portable toilets flying past their office windows. Luckily there
was nobody in them at the time.

Weather here the last two weeks has been miserable

Just before Christmas we were hit with a blanket fog that just lifted by the weekend (it was a similar one that hit flights in London, just a bit earlier), Christmas day was weird - it was sunny and mild at around 10C/50F, not very Christmas like but good weather. Around New Year and today, there's been little but rain and gusts of wind flooding places.
