Since most will end in fist fights or murders I say the police will be moderating the investigation of the aftermath. People just do not understand getting two aspies within
a few meters of each other causes stress on the fabric of time and space.

Responsible adults, If not it is up to their legal guardians. Formal meets can be moderated by whoever chooses to organise them. General safety advice can be given:

1. Don't meet with in a area you unfamiliar with. Or somebody’s home if you don't know them.

2. Meet up in public in a neural location. Generally I recommend first meet to be during the day in a central location with plenty of access to transport and people.

3. Would recommend placing it on here and go only after you get a number of people interested.

4. Bring mobile phone, but not unnecessary valuables.

5. Tell someone what time your likely to get back.

6. If you know someone who can go with you ask them.

7. Be responsible for your own food, drink, and property. Don't accept a round from some you don't know.

8. Don't exchange money for an event until you've got your hands on the ticket or buy direct from source. The organiser has to be prepared to make a group booking if needed.

9. Exchange mobile numbers from all people involved. It sounds counter productive but it is not.

10. Decline lifts back home.

I'm kicking myself for not putting it in my spider program. I'll rebuild it and run it again to include locations. Or could just ask alex for the data but that wouldn't be as fun

Hard to know even if its in their profile.

I am really an Iraqi sleeper waiting for the opportune time to strike. I have you all fooled into thinking I am in the antipodes, but in reality I secretly use werbert's computer when he's asleep and I can fool you all into thinking I am in a different time zone.

I can tell you this now because I have been reassigned to London. I think I'll look up Fiz. She's hot.

BTW - Werbert snores.

Yes, and I'm Mark Gatiss. I didn't really appear in this week's Doctor Who, they just put some old fart into the machine and swapped him for some younger sod.

Yes, I am being sarky. Actually, has anyone here actually met him?

I do understand people who are not interested in meeting up with anyone. I was like until recently. Also some people might have friends not want anymore. That is all cool. It is quite common though to get thread about people expressing a desire to make friends but not knowing how to. This is a step in that. It is not meant to be to fast moving, if anything a criticism on the other site was it was too fast moving too many meets in the same town on the same day. Then dry patches with only a few meets. But I guess that's freedom of choice. Mostly it is fairly active getting a number of meets per week. I guess you could put it in a single sticky thread. But it would be pretty hard to follow a particular meet. If you just posted meet thread in one other forums it would just get swamped by other posts. It is not meant to be that fast moving usually you need about a week or so for people to declare interest. Sometimes months. It wouldn't be fair or efficient to have that mixed in with the rest and keep bumping it up.

In the meets forum anything this that is not to do with a meet gets moved or deleted.
