Never get calls back from job interviews?

i could apply for dozen jobs and got no interviews. if i'm lucky, i'll get a call the next day for an interview, but thats how far it goes. there's been times when i've gotten a response back a year and half after i've applied, but then i've lost interested in working there because they've taken that long to get back to me.

i'm glad i aged out of the meat market rat race. it was always so discouraging.
