I'm not really that close to any of my friends. :(

I have a few friends (or at least I think I do) but I mostly talk to them online. I see people in person perhaps once or twice a month. That's really plenty for me. I also live with my boyfriend who is as much of a hermit as I am. We mostly engage in "parallel play": that is, we sit at our respective computers occasionally sharing interesting information about bugs from Wikipedia. :)

i have a good group of people i go out to movies and such with but i would not consider any of them a best friend. however, there is one girl in particular who is going off to college in a month and i will miss her greatly. she is the friend that i respect the most... but still we dont have that "BEST FRIENDS" type relationship. just good friends.. :)

I have a friend I talk to everyday online over MSN. I also have a good friend who I can not talk to for 6 months, then one of use say hi, and it's like we never parted. We just share that understanding that 'not talking' doesn't equal 'emotional distance'. Those two friendships remind me that Aspie's aren't a lost social cause. Deep relationships are very possible.

I have quite a few other friends who I talk to every few days to every couple weeks. But I'd chat to them more if they were more accessible.

Does anyone wanna be my friend?

hehe

I think I've actually asked that once before, when I was much younger, but I think, given the reception that question received back then, I never asked it again... Till now ;):P

I don't have anyone I would call a friend. I have some acquaintances and there are some colleagues at work who know a fair bit about my life but I never see them outside of work.

I long for community but if I got it I dare say I'd run a mile.
