I think it can arise from any background. I haven't looked into the specifics of median systems though as we're multiple so don't quote me on that.

Is it possible to be median in some aspects and also be multiple? I feel like that describes me better.

Yes, I would say that is possible.
It's nice talking to another multiple person. I/we often feel alone because almost everyone I know is a singlet (someone who isn't multiple).
