Whoever gave this guy a phd for this should be shot. While his rmp score is not that low, if you read the comments it is clear the most thoughtful coments are complaints about authoritarian bs with this guy, which is no surprise considering his 'central thesis'

I do not think that its true that Narcissts do not feel anything.
they re simply.. addicted to fame, compliments, whatever that makes them forget this black hole inside.
And exactly like all the addicts, they destroy their family, friends.. whatever they touch.
As for empaths keeping Narcissts in check. Personally, the one who feels too much is too overwhelmed to do anything.
Especially against Narcisst.

From my FB days, I remember guy who was posing as empath... but woe betide to you moment you did not agree with him.
He was endlessly whiney, how he was always running on narcissts and how they re abusing him.
no matter how factual you were, he blocked you.
and anyone who agreed with you.
After studying matter deeper I think he was just covert narcisst, who got regularly trashed by grandiose narcissts.

Dogs physically beaten , as puppies, will inevitable turn mean and vicious.
Same with people. Prison proves this point.
Epigenetics..., apparently hardship of grandparents, say for e.g. famine in their youth, can effect grandchildren. Impairing their health. Traits, I think seem to skip generations.
I read that somewhere.
All my grandparents were kinda sickly in various ways....not good.
My childhood was mainly warm, but it could have been hotter.
As far as people posing as empaths.
It's a known fact that psychopaths pretend to be model citizens, the most upstanding, and pure in any community. It's their cover. they go above and beyond what a normal person would do to appear charitable and virtuous.
That's why I always trust rebels, and people who are matryd, or are controversial, and are not conformists, because they are more truthful generally. Because they put their neck on the line.
