About the only crush I ever had/have is Miranda Cosgrove, the girl from iCarly but she's done a bit of other stuff. As for why I like her she's funny, smart, wholesome, responsible, mature, & independent. iCarly ended because Miranda decided to go to college. She majored in film at first but ended up changing her major to psychology. I never really wanted kids but if any woman would make me consider em it would def be Miranda

I don't think I've really had any celebrity crushes since I was a kid.

Lately I crush on characters in relationships. Like how cute Hae-in and Hyun-woo are together in Queen of Tears. Then Soo-cheol and Da-hye as that progresses. I don't crush much on the actual celebrity, other than their appearance, voice, etc.

I used to have a celeb crush on a Portland news anchor, but thankfully no more.

Julie Newmar, the original Catwoman. I've seen her in other things as well, but Batman was my introduction to her. I was six approaching seven. I admire Diana Rigg as Mrs. Peel from the Avengers. Both Mrs. Peel and Julie Newmar wore catsuits, and I admit I am drawn to the lines created by the snug outfit. Even as child I thought it was striking image. However, I feel Julie has Diana Rigg beat, by a bit. I also enjoy Julie's voice.

Julie Newmar is not married. Is there hope?

Guess what? They're sagging at the age of 21 and I'm not very slim either.

Considering she's a sh1t person and probably uses plastic anyway, maybe this is a good thing.

Your comment made me chuckle a bit. Breast are not everything to everyone. Myself, I've never been a breast admirer. The thing about celebrity crushes is it is all about image, what is presented to the public.

I had a crush on a girl from second grade through fifth grade. It was all about her face, first. Her appearance was second. What happened in fifth grade? My family moved.

Consider this. As mentioned, I had a thing, a crush, for Julie Newmar as Catwoman. I did not find her costume striking until I was older and studied art. As a kid, I was drawn to her voice. Julie Newmar as a distinctive why of saying words in a way I cannot put my finger on it. I'm not articulate enough. So one has Catwoman in mind. My first wife was heavy set, and wore thick glass, which made her eyes a bit small. I thought, and honestly still think, she looked beautiful. We have been divorced for almost thirty years, and I still think she looks beautiful. It's not that crushes are not something we do not feel, they are just initially superficial.

I also had a crush on a news anchor. To make matters worst, for me in terms of awkwardness, she left her news anchor job and came to work at the same employer as me. I did not work with her. I was in a different department.

I don't think I have crushes anymore. I have admirations. For instance, Park Eun-bin who played Woo Young-Woo. I am visually taken by her, but I admire watching her portray characters because I forget I'm watching her portray a character. She seems to be a modest person, a hard working person.

Julie Newmar is an interesting person. She was considered a child prodigy. She studied music and dance, and she talks about acting in terms of music and dance. She is considered above average in intelligence. I've heard she is shy, and in the very few interviews I've seen, her eyes look around and not at the person interviewing her. One person described her as "wispy" and "other worldly." Evidently, she did not have many friends growing up. She is very private. Yes, I'm wondering if she is on the spectrum? However, my reasoning is superficial, and in the end it does not matter. She is simply Julie Newmar. As Catwoman, in her catsuit, which she never seems to omit that she did not have something to do with the design (tightness and the placement of the belt), she is breathtaking, but so are many of Raphael's Madonna paintings.

ElmersTrueLove, do not fret (maybe you're not fretting). What would Fred Rogers tell you? And you know, he is right.

Miranda Cosgrove seems like someone whose genuinely good hearted. I can definitely understand crushing on her.
