Your ability of rational reasoning at a very young age

I knew that other children are usually not interested in astronomy when I was in preschool age, maybe 4 - 5 years old and I remember saying about it to a sibling of one of my parents. Even in preschool age I knew that other people do not think in the same way as I and that other people do not have the same interests as me.
I did silly or even very stupid things as a child or young teenager many times, I did not heard or read LITERALLY that these things are evil or bad despite something inside said that they are forbidden and not good, but I did not heard or read that they are sinful, evil or bad so I did them many times
I did not have CLEAR instructions, CLEAR texts banning them.
I probably remember that I chewed old chewing gum which I found on the ground (and which was probably earlier chewed by someone other than me) when I was about 4 years old, I might think about potential risks associated with chewing it but I did it despite the risk (and I rather was conscious of that risk or not).

Ooh I was crazy for astronomy. Still am.

I can definitely relate. I wasn't really rebellious growing up either, I had seen the consequences of my older siblings actions and rationalized that that wasn't what I wanted. I didn't do things my peers did in school because I didn't want to suffer the consequences. And I couldn't understand why they couldn't just not misbehave or not rebel if they didn't want to get into trouble. Granted, I was made fun of for it, but in the long run I don't have any regrets.
