Tylenol has never been deemed "safe" during pregnancy. I distinctly remember being told not to take it. I don't remember being told why.

What they're saying now is that people whose mothers took Tylenol in pregnancy are more likely to be given a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or another developmental disability. AND I believe they said that it was related to a problem with absorbing B9. And further that if these children were given a prescription B9 supplement their "autism" symptoms were drastically reduced.

Which suggests to me that they did not actually have autism, they had a B9 problem.

They are currently looking into all of this, but they had the press release so that people could make their own decisions about whether or not they wanted to take Tylenol, since it's over the counter and all.

I'm not sure why this is so hard for people to understand.

The administration tells me that Tylenol caused my autism. Who do I sue over that? My mother? Her doctor? I want my life back!
I don't know if you meant this as a joke or not but it's hilarious. Thank you so much, I needed this this morning

Most medications aren't recommended during pregnancy.

I still think the MMR vaccination did my brain in.

Autism has been around probably forever. In the middle ages people sometimes thought their child had been kidnapped by fairies and replaced by a changeling when they were a baby. But it's quite possible the child was autistic, and it was only when the baby grew older and acted differently from other kids that the parents suspected they were really a changeling. And then the child was usually abandoned or murdered. Has anything changed since those days, really?

Speaking of mythical creatures, please tell me the OP is being a complete troll.

I''d suggest trying to sue the pharmaceutical companies that make Tylenol & Acetaminophen. Lots of those companies supported Trump & his clown administration so I belive those companies deserve to be sued over BS Trump studies & claims

I was born before Tylenol or MMR vaccines were available, so I guess I can't sue anyone

However, I was exposed to thalidomide in utero which has a correlation with increase risk of ASD. I suspect I don't have much of a case there either but I'll look into it.

To tell the truth, if thalidomide made me autistic then I'm glad I was exposed to it. (Don't tell the lawyers I said that, please.)
