Armpits, yes. Legs, yes. I shave my legs in winter (occasionally, as a treat to the bf haha) but wax them in summer. Wax the bikini line too... am tempted to get a brazilian too (again, treat the bf) just to see what it's like. A lot of my kiwi friends swear by them so I'll see - just have to be brave enough to let someone down there! I'm not worried about the pain as I've waxed everywhere else before so assume it won't be any worse.

I don't shave my armpits or legs anymore, because I'm trying out my natural side.

I can't NOT shave my armpits...the smell is just so fowl! [well...for me it is!].

As for my legs, I don't bother to shave them.

I shave my legs and my armpits and bathing suit areas...yeah...anything else is chill with me.

Only reason I shave my legs is because during PT we do swimming and stuff so I do it for there so I don't look wacky.

Shave my armpits or lower legs if on show, but not very hairy and never need too much anyway.

No, I can't stand shaving. I hate the feeling when it grows back so it's easier to just never shave at all. I don't get why women are supposed to be hairless anyway, what is the rationale for that anyway?

For the same reason that women are supposed to wear make-up, high heels, and have long hair.

OK, that still makes no sense to me, it never will. Women should have long hair but a hairless body, this is just crazy.

Actually, now that I think about it, not all women are expected to have long hair. That's only for young women in our society. Once women get to be a certain age there is pressure on them to cut their hair. There aren't many really old women with long hair.

I don't shave anymore. why should I? I hate shaving. It's annoying, and there is no need.

I agree. Beards are cool, and shaving sucks.

Yeah, I was just being sarcastic, sorry if that was unclear. What I meant was women are expected to put more effort into their appearance, so as to be more attractive to men, because that's (supposedly) a woman's main goal in life.

I minimize it because I feel icky otherwise.

Dirt and bacteria cling to hair. Head hair stays pretty clean because it's exposed to the air, and doesn't get moist the way body hair does. The less body hair you have, the easier it is to stay clean under your clothes.
