I listen to Nickelback, Linkin Park, Maroon5, Incubus, Green Day, Matchbox Twenty, Modest Mouse, The Fray, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, and other rock bands that don't sound like you can't drive a stick. Various Christian rock bands like Kutless, Casting Crowns, Downhere, etc. I encourage you all to listen to Downhere. It's one of the best Christian bands I've heard in a long time.

Woah Woah Stop there please!! !! !! Hector - you have just about EXACTLY the same musical taste as me!! !! ! And quite frankly, it is so spooky, it is NOT ALLOWED! I thought I only was the only person in the universe who loved both Yes, Pink Floyd(early), Peter Hammill (I assume the absence of VDGG was a typo?) AND Butthole Surfers. And above all, the Cocteau Twins - paradise on earth.

And I mustn't mention my autographed Rush gig program from 1979, my Brian Eno albums, my most unforgettable gig of all time being The Residents.....or was it Klaus Schulze at Coventry Cathedral in 1985, or when I shared the stage with Sonic Youth???

Today I read that Latest Research has shown the link between your psyche and your musical taste. Oh dear......

PS I can't stand Bob Dylan, though.

The list's a bit different now (it's on my RYM: http://rateyourmusic.com/~HectorG). Basically an artist is on the list whenever they have more than one album I consider great at a time. A few artists sort of come and go with phases of listening, but I still love all the ones I listed there of course to a greater or lesser extent.
