Here ya go:

Shay - shae - mis - mus - muss

http://www.babynamesofireland.com/pages ... s-o-z.html

Americanized, it's Shamus, but I think that's inelegant.

I also like Pierce, Ronan and Tierney.

Anwell - The beloved, dear one.
Drystan - The noisy one. (this will probably become true)
Dunham - A dark man.
Kearney - warrior
Lann - sword.
Vortigern - A great king.
Weylin - The son of the wolf (depends what you think of your son-in-law)

Anwell.....I like........I could call him "Anny".....as an endearment and also in tribute to Darth Vador before he became Darth Vador.....(don't mean that in a bad or sarcastic way.....I really liked him.....back in the day when he was racing.......and being sweet....)

Drystan......OMG.....he is.....(in the ultra-sound video....he jumps and flips like a noisy little frog.... )

Dunham..............dark man............eeeek.....now that reminds me of my son-out-law......

WEYLIN - I love!! !!.....and is so cool because my daughter's birth totem animal is the WOLF......NO son............in.........out.........law isssues on this one!! !

8) 8) 8) .....this definately goes on the "short-list"....... :)
p.s. .....I think Anwell....will also go on the "short-list"........

okay.........

2 names - so far - no.............three.....

Seamus, Anwell & Weylin............on the "official short-list" :)

I do like Bob.....except.....that we had a "gold-fish" named "click-bob".....who after two years....met his demise.....because I ignored him when crunching in intermediate accounting class.....

and then: there was: "cheese-cake-bob" ............another gold-fish.........who met his demise....because his owner was a 15 year old teen-age girl..............who (although faith-full-ey....committed to him......some-how......lost him............in her bed-room.....under..........the blankets.....

so.....bob..................no............sorry

If you have some Germans in the background, how about:

Nicholas / Nikolas - could be shortened to Nick or Klaus
Jonas
Mathias

I had some strange great-great grandparents. They named their only son "Cocoa." The family called him "Coke."

Also, if he wants, he can be called "Griff": very masculine.
My son's middle name is Griffin.
