I believe this place should be a place to express opinions, and not have to be sickly sweet and over nice to everyone because you should.

If someone annoys you, you should be allowed to express it.

If this place is encouraging people to be un-naturally nice to everyone because then it won't disrupt the "harmony" I believe I'll just leave and forget internet forums all together - there are too many that follow that rule.

Hi hale_bopp, you really don't know me....that's okay...if you did you would realize that how I talk and live my life is just the way I sound online. You can call it "sickly sweet" and "over nice" if you want and maybe I seem "un-naturally nice" in comparison to yourself and that's okay too. It doesn't really matter to me how you live your life, if it makes you happy, then so be it.

I enjoy life and can see the good things around me because I've seen the other side of life and lived it for many years. I lived watching people I loved die and then lived with physical pain and abuse for a very long time and now I do not. I know what it's like to live in discord and now I live in peace and yes, (gasp* dare I say) harmony. If this offends you then I'm sorry. I'm sorry but I will not act like some bitter and angry person to make you feel more comfortable. I am what I am. Maybe someday you will come to some sort of peace and harmony in your life. Maybe not.

If you are looking for internet forums to complete your life or to fill a void, I don't think that is what they are designed to do. This is merely my own expressed opinion.

Don't worry, I wasn't replying to your post.. I didn't quote it. I was making a new post on my thoughts on WP.

I have made my position on this clear hale_bopp. Opinions are fine. Disagreement is normal. You don't have to dance around the forum throwing flowers, or being overly nice to anyone. And you are welcome to be grouchy if you feel grouchy - no need for thought police is there? make as many acid comments as you like if you need to vent hale_bopp, just dont be surprised when people get annoyed about it. The only thing I object to is making personal attacks on another member because they annoy you, or you disagree with what they are saying. That leads to precisely the sort of atmosphere which has caused problems here and it will not be tolerated.
