I like January. At least I know that warmer weather isn't too far away...

I can also dream about the warmer weather that's yet to come. :sunny:

I think that I'm forming a lot of my own tips, just by reading all of your responses. Thank you, everyone. :)

I've had a long chat with myself and I've found a month that I enjoy less than January. The month is April. One of my two Rat Mates were in Maui, and my Aunt died the same night that he boarded the plane to his destination. I've decided that January is an easier month for me to get through, than April. My two Rat Mates/best friends and I are together through the month of January, but I only have one Rat Mate with me in April. Sid is looking forward to the New Year, now. :O) I'll be ready to take my tree down, around the 10th of January. It's a bite to enter an ordinary month, after my favourite month of December passes, but I've found that January is a better month for me, than April.

Now I have to deal with a friend who's a scrooge. Do I just not have her over until my tree is down, or have her over and tell her that I'll take it down, when I'm good and ready. I'm sure that some of you will read what I've posted in the Unsent Letters thread.
