Kingdom Hearts was a good idea that was VERY horribly executed.

Unable to move forward in the game because I can't/don't want to do the stupid time trials. And the way I can't get to anywhere I want, but get lost and go in circles.

Ps. Also I hate the way you can't skip the random draggy cinematics if you want to. I have to wander off and do something else until they're done.

Donald and Goofy's constant presence. Donald is incredibly annoying. Ick.

I've never been a Disney-obsessed sort of girl, but I did watch most of the movies growing up, so it can be sort of neat to play through the Beast's Castle or Agrabah levels. And I like having the Beast as a partner for one level, then Aladdin for the next. But then having Donald and Goofy as my constant companions, wherever I go? I feel like the concentration of Disney is just way too much.

I'd rather have a more balanced rotation of FF, Disney and original character partners in the games. It's just too much Disney at once the way it is now. Way too much comic relief and it's not even necessary.

The second one's plot is just baffling. Who the heck isn't Ansem??

And, obviously, the endless Roxas beginning of KHII. It was so awkwardly placed.
The second time I played through KH2, I realized that Roxas was actually much more interesting than Sora. I wish Sora wasn't so... disney-fied. I mean, non-stop angst is cliche, but does he have to be so cheery?

Then again, I can't really change the game into something it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be a light hearted, disney focused game geared towards a very wide audience. And it's not bad for what it is.

I'm pretty sure that (in KH2, at least) you can pause during the longer cut-scenes and choose a "skip scene" option. Sometimes you can't, though - then that's awful.

I agree with your points alot, I realy hated a bunch of the cut scenes that had like Sora Donald and Goofy just being so well goofy and those stupid dialogues and sound affects that are realy disney. In fact a bunch of villaouns are better for the simple fact that they didn't have this comic releif. The plot for the second one was quite difficult to understand, requiring me to online to get some proper understanding or I think some of the reports. Finaly you get the story that the real Ansem was betrayed by Xemnas who along with Ansems students turned themselves into Nobodies and Xemnas's Heartless called himself Ansem and real one calling himself Din. And something about Riku who was conected to fake Ansem can close himself to the light and turn into him and I think he tried to use it to get into organisation XIII. Actualy it looks like the bigger fans of series often are big fans of the Organisation members who are officialy bad guys then the Disney Trio. Been waiting ages for the game '358/2 Days' staring the Organisation members, and has alows player coop. It looks set for an english release latter this year, dear god I hope I don't have to go visit pooh bear, sing under the sea and instead have some cool Square Enix characters.

*Raises hand as Org.XIII fan and Xemnas fangirl*
I don't mind the "disney trio" (I've never thought of that in trio... now my brain itches.)... though Sora really PO'd me in KH2. "Why doez every1 call meh Roxas? zOMG!".

And Days.... must have.
USA/Canada release date is September 29 this year.
Europe date is currently October 2, but that may or may not change.

I don't know about Pooh, but Atlantica doesn't seem to be on the list of confirmed worlds, so I assume no singing. I hope. NO SINGING, aggggggh. *Brain blows up*

The reason I hated the card systen was I like the system from 1 and 2 and always hated card system that why I loathed metal gear acid.

Here's what I disliked:

1. I didn't buy Chain of Memories for the GBA, nor did I play it before jumping into KH2, so when I finally got to play KH2 I didn't know what the hell was going on.

2. I felt that the battles were way too easy. For me there was too much emphasis on flashy moves and poses rather than real tactics.

3. In KH1, the Keyblade was made out to be some sort of mystical weapon, given to a select few (or just one person?), but in KH2 it was like a "short sword" - everyone has one. Mickey had 2, Roxas and Sora each had one (plus its many variations), and Riku has one.

4. The singing in the Little Mermaid world. I'm 21 years old, and people stared when I played that level.

I can't wait for it to come out! Last time I saw it (ages ago) the ad looked quite epic.
It'll have Co-op? I hadn't heard about that yet... That's exciting. XD
But I suppose I'll need to get a PS3 before its release so I can actually play the game. Need money.... ):

Sorry. Off topic. (:

Actualy 358/2 Days is a DS exclusive game that centring around Organisation XIII, so no no PS3 required. I don't think a PS3 game has been confirmed yet, but if you are interested there is also another game called Birth by Sleep that is going to be released on the PSP, set 10 years before the first game with three keybladers. Here are some cool trailers.

And a cool one for Birth by Sleep. I watch this one for just the epicness, sad that I dont have a PSP and will probably not be able to play this.

Ooooh... Nice. Definitely putting aside some cash for the DS one. Gotta have that in my hands come September. The touch screen/dual screen set-up would be pretty nifty for KH games.

Hey, there's something on topic: I dislike the way you have to awkwardly select 'attack,' 'magic,' and 'limit' with the buttons on the PS2 controller. And then 'Summon' and 'Party' are on a whole 'nother menu to the right? 'Cmon - As if I'd (1) waste valuable fight-time scrolling around to switch out a party member or (2) voluntarily stop attacking in the middle of a battle. So cumbersome! There must be a better way to configure that...

DS FTW! I assume that you'll be able to touchscreen select the action and then press a/b/x/y buttons to attack/aim. Makes sense and it'll probably make the game play a little more dynamic than the mostly button mashing it is now. And DS wireless Co-Op? Sweet! (:

The second one is the ad that I saw (that I thought was for PS3). The graphics were just so gorgeous I assumed it was for a non hand-held gaming system. Jeez... If the cut scenes are that nice looking on the PSP... that's just ridiculous. I had no idea that the PSP was capable of something like that. Wow... Wish I had one, too ):

I HATE how almost nobody knows about chain of memories until it came out for the PS2. The controls were ok but my only qualm with it is that you cant just do a normal attack if you run out of cards (exept you always have minimum one card). No madder what u need a card to attack. It sucks when you have to stack cards to defeat an easy guy or to refresh your cards just for a sungle card! HATE CHAIN O MEMORIES!

In the first KH game you can't skip cut scenes, so I hated that whenever I was stuck on a boss, I had to watch the same scene over and over again.
I also hate it when Donald and Goofy mess me up while I'm playing.

Me too!

And another thing I hated was in the first game when Riku stole your Keyblade and your forced to use a stick! :x
