Also, about the picture, I thought she [MissConstrue] meant one of the pictures I posted, not the avatar. Mostly because most people don't really use their real picture as avatar anyway. I might change it though if it causes further confusions.

Sorry when I posted my message, at the time I thought the avatar was you.

I'm the one who should be sorry. I didn't realize it at once. I feel you are generally trying to be nice on this board, and I like that.

First of all, you ARE cute. Extremely cute, in fact. But I consider that a good thing.

My boyfriend will be 30 in a few months, and he's perfectly little-boy adorable in the same way you are....and has the same complaint about it that you seem to. You boys just have to get used to the fact that there are a lot of girls out there who LOVE little-boy cute faces on grown men.

As for the childlike mannerisms, that's something else you and my BF have in common, and something that both I and a lot of my female friends love in a guy.

To me an avatar doesn't have to represent me or any of my feelings at all. Of course it could, but it doesn't have to. In my case, I simply have a beautiful girl as an avatar. That's basically it.

Is that your idea of a beautiful girl, or is there a previous avatar that I don't know about?

Isn't this topic in the wrong department?
I mean, "in-depth adult life discussion" doesn't really fit, does it?
Not that I'm unhappy with the content......it's very - er - cute.

I can't vouch for myself on this issue - the world will have to judge my cuteness or lack of it, and so far they've remained pretty tight-lipped on the matter.
But I had one clue: in my youth I was rebuffed once by a girl who said I was "very pleasant but...." (she never finished the sentence). I worked it out later though - she meant "but he didn't have the guts to ask me out in person, he chickened out and got a mutual friend to talk to me on his behalf, so he must be a weakling and therefore unsuitable for reproductive purposes"

The mutual "friend" relayed the message to me the following day......he advised me to get a more trendy haircut (a Beatle fringe was considered passe by 1967) and to remember that there were plenty more fish in the sea.
