I love KOTOR. It's one of my all-time favorites. Both of them. But I find it tough to turn your companions to Jedi if you don't do the influence conversations just right. So I am constantly playing it, so I get everyone to go my way, whether Jedi or Sith.

I totally concur! It seems a lot of developers assume gamers want to play online all the time. I really don't like that. I prefer gaming on my own. People online are so unpredictable. I'd prefer my budding-rpg character to NOT die within the first hour if other gamers are much higher experience level than me. I like to take my time as well with games. Being online you tend to feel rushed I think.
And I don't socialize very well anyway in a sort of gaming setting like that anyway.
