Last night we watched:

Well done. Visually impressive.

Recently, I re-watched "M3GAN".

I didn't find it "Scary" at all, I found it fun. (Despite its dark moments. No, I did not watch the "Unrated" version, knowing myself)

Loverboy (2005)

OK ... I don't know that I recommend this move because I found it to be a little triggering. I got past it because I love Kyra Sedgwick and I did enjoy it still but wouldn't watch it ever again.

I saw “Kill Your Darlings” and “Beat” with Courtney Love playing the part of Joan Vollmer. Both were overall good as Beat Generation movies go. I saw Night of the Living Dead (1968) earlier in the year, I thought it was well done and can see why it is regarded as a cult classic, but it is a bit graphic. Most recently I saw “Permanent Vacation.” I thought it was very depressing but it reminded me of the alienation I felt in my teens.

Obsession (2026) Wow Wow ... very good indeed!

The Naked Gun (2025 version with Liam Neeson in the lead)

Having recently watched Alice in Wonderland [2010], last night we watched:

Alice Through the Looking Glass [2016]
<=>"It's Time For A Little Madness."

The two movies are fantastic Fantasy.

And, though not animated, they are visually incredible.

I recommend the two movies.

Last night we watched:

A.I. Artificial Intelligence [2001]

This movie is very well-constructed. Recommended.

The Monkey (an adaptation of a short story written by Stephen King)

The kill scenes are intense with plenty of f-bombs to match. An awesome film!

Last night we watched:

Alphaville [1965]

Sigh. My fault. I thought my bride and I could fill some time by going systematically through our movie collection.

We're still very low in the alphabet. When I mentioned Alphaville she said she wanted to watch it. Sigh. I knew better and tried to let her to skip it but she insisted.

And she fell asleep during the movie, and I kind of wish I had, too.

The movie is a polished work of art performed in French with English subtitles. Everything about the movie is polished. But, sigh, the story is kind of skimpy.

Not recommended...unless what I said above sounds interesting to you.
