I learned that the song "You're So Vain" was about Don Knotts.

(it was really about Warren Beatty)

My most favourite song was released years ago during my least favourite month.

I learned that William Jennings Bryan was responsible for the rise of Woodrow Wilson into the White House which later led to FDR and the New Deal and the Democrats being the party of the working class.

To stay away from accent detection sites.

Some of how to play Warhammer 40k.

(Went to a "Learn to play" event at my local gaming store)

Charles Schulz was a big fan of famous composer Brahms, and considered giving the interest to his Peanuts character, Schroeder. But instead he chose Beethoven because he just thought it sounded funnier.

I guess he was right. Beethoven bubblegum cards does sound funnier than Brahms bubblegum cards.

I've learned another way to load avatars. Copy the URL to a picture site that it's on and tamper with the measurements until it looks right.

Please elaborate? My imagination is going in several directions.

Trivia is trivial and this morning I learned some trivia, probably well known to some but it wasn't to me.

Debian Linux
The name Debian is a portmanteau (fancy word, right?) of Ian (Murdock), the founder of the distribution, and his ex-wife Debra Lynn in the year 1993. It is the second oldest distribution of Linux, right behind Slackware.

I remember our UNIX administrator and I attempting to get Slackware installed on a couple older Compaq 486 computers. It was not easy. I am going to believe he was successful, whereas it was my first interaction at failing to install Linux.

More trivia. Ian was diagnosed with "Asperger's" way back before Asperger's was recognized as part of the Autistic spectrum. Is "recognized" the correct word to use?
He died in 1915.
