I'm a bit torn on this. Part of me thinks it's a bit pathetic and weird to marry someone that doesn't actually exist. Yet the other part of me understands how easy it is to fall in love with fictional characters. Because they are fictional, they can do whatever you want them to do. You don't have to worry about them being disloyal to you or anything (that is unless you want them to of course.) Because of this I've had (& still have) a few crushes on fictional characters. But I could never go through with marrying them because I feel that they belong to their creators... plus it wouldn't be fair to the other fans.

Hm yes, I agree. I wouldn't go as far as marrying my mind (), though I roleplayed marriage of my silly goddamn video game character fantasy before. (Pretend marriage, game over anyway)

I was at Anime Club yesterday, and after we watched our usual lineup (Code Geass, Detroit Metal City, Rideback, and Umineko), they put on that episode of 30 Rock (the NBC comedy) where the one blonde girl was in a fake relationship with a movie star who was really in love with one of those anime character body pillows.

IT. WAS. HILARIOUS.

I laughed so hard I almost got sick.
