I'm not generally drug positive, (Except caffeine) but I must disagree with you.
While pot does a lot of bad things to your mental and physical health, it does not kill you, at least not primarily. Refer to psych's post.
But, I stick with caffeine, hooked as I am. Caffeine doesn't fry your brain in the same way as pot does.

You know I really am getting annoyed about refer to this person to another. You know I don't care.

What is your religion? The only one I can come to think of is mormon.

I have some M&Ms once in a while and a soda about twice a week. But besides that, I really stay away from caffeine when I can.

Don't worry. Just say 10 "hail mochas" and you'll be fine.

I agree. I am surprised and dismayed to see all the disapproval of caffeine expressed here.

No, no disapproval, I just wanted to make sure no drug is left out of our "whats healthy" debates (spurred by the pot threads)

I used to drink cocoa-cola up to five times a week.
I now drink at least three glasses a day.

Strangely, it doesn't seem to make any difference if I go without pop for a week.

Many Americans drink coffee or consume large amounts of coffee. Many Americans are overweight or obese. I wonder if there's a connection.

I've stopped drinking coffee. I continue to drink tea and caffeinated soft drinks. Giving my erratic sleeping schedule right now, which is not due to too much energy but rather due to projects I have to get done for school and otherwise, I will probably continue to drink caffeinated beverages on my "off" days at the very least.

I have noticed that when I drink a lot of coffee, Mountain Dew or Coke don't taste as good. They aren't as bitter. Bitterness is a part of what makes their overall taste so good, and it is caused by the caffeine. Maybe there is so much caffeine tolerance built up that an additional small amount has little or no apparent taste.

I'm currently hooked on Mello Yellow. I'm actually weaning myself off Coke; it has too much extra "stuff" and leaves me feeling like I've overdosed a bit on sugar.

I drink a quart or two of green tea daily. Had to give up coffee.

I drink about 2 cups of coffee in the morning, and green or black tea during the day. I don't drink that much soda as it's not really the best for you. I do drink water a lot, often adding a squeeze of lemon to it for more flavor. I personally feel that life is meant to be enjoyed, not endured. The worst thing I do is drink caffeine on a daily basis.
