I dont know what to say really... I just dont see what you guys see. All I see is my many posts in the haven, I guess, and the worst of myself. I have grown to tend to move off before I can be rejected as I have been rejected so much before. I will try and hold on and see how things go. Sorry for being so... um, embarrassingly... well, moody

A lot of those posts have helped other people though. I know that I've taken inspiration from what you've said.

You make posting in the Haven sound like a stigma.

Whenever I posted about my issues on other sites, I was accused of being an emo and such things. I used to mod on a spiritual site and the result of my moodiness was that all the other moderators turned on me and ganged up in chat one night and fired questions at me about my 'bad' behaviour.

My ex accused me of attention seeking when I had any sort of emotional crisis or panic attack. Hence I have come to view expression of emotion as a very negative thing, hard as I find it to begin with to express my emotions in my real life. To me, each time I post about my issues or have an outburst, in my mind, it brings me closer to being an outcast or someone turning around and saying nasty things to me.

I like your posts because you put your emotions out there for everyone to see and you are someone people can relate to. I can understand why you feel like you want to quit I withdraw from people almost completely once I start to feel I am bringing them down. But noone has ever made me feel that way no matter how much they vent their emotions it is just a welcome distraction from my own and its nice to think your not alone with these things.

You're also not invisible either but actually one of the more interesting people. Sorry if I dont reply to any of your threads I am still very quiet when it comes to the way I feel.

Yeah..yeah..don't quit...

but I know how you feel..I have wanted to quit this site too..I don't know how to un-join..but at one point i wrote to the moderators and asked them to please delete my profile.
The problem is i am thoroughly addicted.
I sorta feel like it makes me focus too much on my aspie-like traits..when i need to be focusing on not being so aspie-like...especially since I am not diagnosed with it.

So it is best I am not on this forum anymore. I just bring other people down.
All the best.

I hope you don't leave Graelwyn. I often think I'm too sensitive to be here too, so I know how you feel. I don't think you do bring people down at all, it's just that you're feeling a little down yourself. Please don't make any hasty decisions. You have brought a lot of life, fun stuff and generosity of spirit to the forum. Also you are brilliant when people need a little TLC in the Haven, you always know what to say...and you're one of the few people who's ever managed to talk some sense into me... I think it's just a temporary feeling, please don't leave, OK?

I'm shocked!

You seemed like such a great person although not positive all the time!

You have posted so much in this thread that I wasn't sure if you'd do that, but if you do decide to leave, best wishes!

I've only just found WP and honestly, your posts were among those that got me thinking that registering and participating would be a good thing to do. It seemed to me that some folks post just to increase their numbers, as if it's some sort of contest, but you seem to post only when you've got something to say.

Do what seems appropriate to you now, though, according to your comfort level - only you know you.

I don't believe it!

This is like saying the war in Iraq is going to stop right now!

Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm just not seeing your negativity and pessimissm. Your posts are always very intelligent and insightful.

Please don't.

I think the entire purpose of this site is to help aspies cope with life's difficulties by being able to communicate with others who are also aspie.

I think the consensus is that we are happy to be leaned on. I know I am.

And I have truly liked your posts.

You are valuable here. Please stay.
