This thread is about one woman's (allegedly) sarcastic plan to keep her boyfriend faithful to her and earning money for her, so why would Jim-Bob derail it to being a "Blame-the-Victim" thread instead?

We already acknowledged that it's offensive if it's just a joke about someone's boyfriend, and that we aren't being sexist. The problem arose when Matchbox Vanguard (sic) said "It's never appropriate" to castrate a person. He then switched the direction of the thread by attempting to start a flame war about gender: "I don't think I've ever heard anybody say that about women, but somehow it's different with men."

Given his derailment of the topic, I replied more than once to say it's not about gender and that yes, sometimes it is indeed "appropriate", as determined by courts of law around the world.

The derailment is on Matchbox, not me, so you should likely direct your queries to him.

I never made it about gender, either. I was just responding to a comment that was in the OP. It's not like I introduced castration into the conversation. I've stated that I have an issue with sex criminals of all genders. There's no "sexist agenda" going on here. Honestly, this is beyond ridiculous at this point.

If people want to debate the pros and cons of castrating sex offenders, they can take it to PPR. There's more that I could say about that, but I don't want to continue the derailment of what was supposed to be a lighthearted thread, and I don't want to spend time debating a triggering topic because some of the reasons for my stance are triggering.

People need to recognize that there are victims of sexual abuse here. They should try to be a hell of a lot more sensitive.

My comment about MR was because he just got his test results back that day.
I was in the midst of deciphering what 600 meant when the thread was posted.
It was ironic and relevant to my life, so I cracked a joke at my own expense.
There's more to my comment than meets the eye but I'll leave it at that.

My apologies, 'Bella.

The question was for everyone, not any one person.

Thanks for clarifying.
It's frustrating when every discussion about sex turns into a gender war.
This happens even when we clearly state it's not about gender.

Some of us are also expected to share private experiences.
If we don't, our opinions and contributions aren't taken seriously.

Back on topic, many people have strange ideas about testosterone as we’ve seen displayed on WP, even by male members. It’s often due to ignorance or trolling.
I have strong opinions about testosterone & I'm not trolling nor ignorant about it. It's in part due to my personal experiences with having a high-sex drive & I've done a bit of research on hormones to find methods to lower my drive. My mental health is better having lower T & a lower sex drive, I'm more relaxed. That said, I do not conform to the stereotypical male & I've had phases where I felt I was born the wrong gender but I'm not transgendered either. I'm a conundrum

In regards to the woman who started that thread, like others have said I really hope she's being sarcastic. If someone has a problem with their partner's hormones or sex drive, they should have a frank discussion with their partner about it. Things should be decided together & neither should unilaterally make decisions for the other.

I didn’t say “strong opinions.” I said that “many people have strange ideas.” It’s beyond me why some are taking stuff I said in this thread personally.

Some people on WP, not you, have used testosterone to justify their own creepy, manipulative, grooming behavior.

Many people do lack understanding about testosterone because it’s a complex topic. Various myths exist about it as well which fail to paint a complete picture of what it actually does.

Twilight, maybe you missed the memo. Everything you say on this website is taken out of context and turned around to imply things you haven't said. It's a conspiracy to prove you're the high priestess of sex and gender. The rest of us are your snivelling minions, unworthy of comment.

All hail to the great and powerful Twilight!! :jester: /s

PS - That's not aimed at you Nick. Just a general observation about her omnipotence.

I AM Divine.

Seriously though, it doesn’t even matter how carefully I word things or how many qualifiers I use.

In this thread, I might as well have said: “ALL men should be castrated” and “EVERYONE who has an opinion about testosterone is ignorant and trolling.”

JFC, people need to take a chill pill. I’m not talking about them and their precious penises or enlightened views about testosterone.

I misread that word. Sorry about that

^^

Yes, but you post in such a clear way that you can only be misinterpreted. It's a magic trick taught in "Rhetoric and Unpersuasive Writing" lectures, about how to write clearly and confound your entire audience to a frenzy. This series begins with Intro to Chaucer: The Man, The Myth, and the Meatloaf. No reading of Chaucer is required, and theses can be ripped from Wikipedia or found on trains without appropriate citations. In Senior year, students critique the philosophy of anti-expository misanecdotal retorts, in conjunction with the Departments of Cryptology, Cloning, and Wanton Voodoo. Doctoral Candidates craft multiple, charming dysidentities, none of which are coherent, and graduate Magna cum laude regardless of performance or effort. No prerequisites are required, but antirequisites include 1st Grade Reading Comprehension, all undergraduate Critical Thought courses, and 300-level "Cooking with Mince Meat", which was recently deemed too logical for SJW education.

So far out of all of my interactions on the dating market, only two women were similarish to this. Both of them only seemed interested in me because they thought I was emasculated and had all the intention to continue it in long, drawn out chaste relationships despite them knowing I wasn't interested in this beforehand. Luckily all other women had the decency to just say it wasn't going to work out if they didn't click.

Intentional emasculation for satisfying personal interests in a relationship is nasty, odious behaviour.

Needless to say these two women are still single in their 30s and have to prepare to buy 10 cats.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have three cats but I like normal dudes, myself.

Come as you are: Bad Boys, Girly Guys, Nice Guys, Nerds, Punks, Sportos, Motorheads, Geeks, Sluts, Bloods, Wastoids, Dweebies, Dickheads, Righteous Dudes, and the occasional Holy Priest.

Whatever floats your boat is good with me.

Just don't be a dick to other humans, and we'll get along fine.
