I’ve not watched the movie. I read the book a couple times, but I wasn’t sure if the movie would be more than I could handle. Do you think it would be? I think about the book all the time. There are so many passages that I can relate to on some level.

I haven't seen the movie or read the book since 1985.
The music still gives me shivers.

I think it would be very emotional for you, but it's also freeing.

^^ Maybe I’ll research it a bit more and think about it. Since I read the book, I could skip especially difficult parts.

I watched this many years ago. Some of the casting choices are…interesting (*cough* Keanu Reeves *cough*), but I still enjoyed it. A live performance would probably be better. A chick flick thread wouldn’t be complete without some Shakespeare.
