Me too, which is why I hate autumn. I don't care that they eat other bugs, I still don't like them. I like other bugs anyway.

I think I'm becoming a bit phobic about watching live television you know

It's a similar feeling I get when I'm in a crowd

I think it's the unpredictability of it all

Mosquitoes

But I don't know if it's a phobia or just a bloody hatred of them

I'm not keen on snakes but I wouldn't say I'm phobic of them because I have held them but they're just not my scene

Spiders, well I'd say I'm a bit phobic but it's sort of got easier with age

Heights but only if my feet aren't on something
I can run up and down ladders all day long

I'm just a bloody scaredy cat me

When I was young being bitten by mosquitoes was just a minor annoyance. But then there was all the panic about West Nile virus and Zika virus. Now if you got bitten it was like, "Quick, start writing your will!" Mosquitoes are basically dirty infected needles with wings.

I have Emetophobia too, like really severe.

I love moths though. But not spiders. I have a phobia of spiders.

I've seen you mention it before while I've been lurking and I relate. I used to take anxiety medication for it and went through a period of horrific panic attacks when I was about 17-20ish. Because anxiety causes stomach aches which causes more anxiety and it goes on in an endless cycle. I can handle the anxiety better than I used to but the phobia behind it remains.

I only saw this thread last night.

I can't imagine what you've been going through, babybird.

I think you are the strongest person I've ever met.

And gosh, I'm so sorry.

 please take care.

My phobia is causing distress.
