If they grow in at an angle they can cause serious pain.

I got all my wisdom teeth removed when I was 13, because they were impacted. I inherited my mom's small jaw and my dad's big teeth! They put me under, and I regained consciousness in the middle of the oral surgery. I was sufficiently numb so that I couldn't feel anything, but the cracking noises of the teeth being broken so they could be taken out bit by bit made me Very uncomfortable. I remember it being painful for a day or two, and I couldn't open my mouth all the way for most of a week because my jaw was so sore, so I ate nothing but soup. It really needed to be done, though. They were pushing the rest of my teeth all over the place.

I've been putting it off for far to long. I haven't been to a dentist in 9 years. I'm 29 and have only had one wisdom tooth pulled. At the time they gave me a terrible horror story and showed me nasty pictures of what would happen if I didn't get the others pulled out soon.

So I'm worried about going to a dentist. But I'm going to force myself to go this year, 2008. Get it checked out and see the costs.

They're not causing me any pain, but they have been pushing my teeth around. I'm pretty sure they'll have to cut them out. It'll be a bloody mess.

well, the pain medicine made me reject anything that i drank or ate yesterday. my face now looks like a square because of the inflaming.
