I dreamt that I was in the yard with my late black cat Midnight, he was on the ground on his side as I rubbed his belly with my foot, and he was purring and drooling. then out of nowhere came herds of these purple and black tadpoles about the size of dinner plates, they had black and red eyes and clawed feet and fangs, they attacked and bit my cat before he ran away, then they jumped all over me and I awoke. 8O

Had a dream that I was in my mom's backyard and saw a bunch of beautiful purple wisteria flowers on vines covering the wire fencing that seperates our trailer park from the scraggly mess of trees and overgrown weeds in what used to be the woods.

I went over to get a closer look at the wisteria and the next thing I knew a large black goat came up to the fence and was hanging halfway off the wire staring me down with its intense square-shaped pupils and yellow colored eyes.

Definetly felt like an omnious dream. :skull:

In dreams, a fence almost universally symbolizes boundaries, protection, and limitations. It reflects how you manage your personal space, emotional safety, or the restrictions you feel in your waking life.
Dreaming of a backyard represents your private subconscious, innermost thoughts, or your personal circle of family and close friends. While the main house represents your public persona, the backyard reflects hidden feelings, private matters you may be avoiding, or your instinctual nature and personal boundaries.
Dreaming of wisteria vines usually symbolizes love, patience, and endurance. In the language of flowers, the vining nature of wisteria represents devotion or a clinging bond, while its ability to thrive for over a century connects it to longevity and wisdom.
Seeing a black goat in a dream often symbolizes your "shadow self"—representing hidden fears, repressed instincts, or the mysterious, unknown parts of your psyche. Depending on cultural and spiritual contexts, it can also act as a warning sign of stubborn obstacles, or conversely, an emblem of ultimate independence and tenacity.

Sounds to me like I'm torn between a safe comfortable family life and a desire for the freedom to embrace my shadow side that I feel forced to suppress in the form of that black goat staring at me over the fence.

Makes a weird kind of sense. I would have to cross over the backyard fence to confront what lurks over the wisteria in the wild wilderness, bit id be kind of scared of confronting that black sinister goat again

Also last night i had another dream about waking up to my mom's home being filled with spots of fire burning brightly and colorful butterflies dancing all around the flames.

I dreamt I was in my late parents' home, dad was there and he had me turn all the faucets on full blast for some unknown reason. in the main bathroom shower one of the spigots was malfunctioning, so dad told me to step in the tub and see why it was misbehaving, as I approached it it turned into a human head with a spigot coming out of its mouth splashing out blood, then the head fell off the pipe and hit me in the thigh.

I dreamt I was back at work talking with one of the employees I knew back then. at quitting time we walked out to the parking lot and got inside my champagne colored '69 Chevy Impala and drove through the woods until the road ended, then drove over dirt roads until they ran out. then we walked a bit, then I awoke.

My dad gave me s**t for picking my nose with my feet in front of him in the middle of him giving me s**t for something else.

My onstage banter lead to finding out the band I was a part of was replacing me, I invited the replacement up to perform a song. He could play guitar and sing at the same time, so I think they made a good decision. :nerdy:

I dreamt I was on some lake in the early springtime up north, and there was a flatbed boat towing cars across the lake, and I flew over them and then hovered a few feet off the water, moving at about 20 miles per hour towards the opposite shore, the lake was about a mile wide.

I dreamt I was in some basement in Japan where Yakuza [Japanese mobsters] were torturing a circle of men, and eventually had a circular shower curtain rod arrangement of spinning heavy metal chrome weights bash each man's brains out. I followed one of the injured men to a hospital where they had him hooked up to life support, I could see his brain through a large crack in his skull.
