Depends on body frame I guess... I'm 5'11'' and would be skinny at 180, and 'fighting weight' at 210... (I'm pushing 250 at the moment though. Grumble)

Overweight? OH yeah. Between the fibromyalgia (which naturally tends to lead to packing on a "fat pad"), ME, arthritis, and the messed up metabolism that led to my diabetes diagnosis, I've packed on over 150 pounds that I REALLY WANT to lose.

Unfortunately, it seems like dieticians are all idiots (tell a diabetic to eat a HIGH carbohydrate diet?!?) and the medical problems make it impossible for me to exercise enough to get rid of the weight, unless I can convince the local Y that I'm poor enough to qualify for a membership scholarship so I can use their water exercise program.

Grumble.... found out today that I'm now a stone heavier than I was.... sodding Celexa... so I'm currently 18 1/2 stone (260 pounds). Ah well, 50 pounds isn't that much weight to try to lose... is it? :?

I had an issue being skinny but not dangerously so. I am 6 feet tall and was 155 lbs for 4 years. This past year, I adjusted the diet and exercise routine and I am at 165 now. If anyone needs to lose weight, give it to me! I figure 175-180 would be a decent weight.

Yes, I am horribly underweight. I eat upwards of 7000 calories a day and I only way 79 Kilos and I am about 2m. tall. It may seem improbible but it's true.

Someone needs to start a Jenny Craig/Weight Watchers type thing for us skinny guys. Fat people get all the publicity, advertising, and crazy schemes...

It always upsets me when they carry on about how "This sub has only 3 grams of fat!" and stuff like that.
Just like McDonalds and their stupid health food menu- They're always catering to the wrong audience. If people wanted to eat healthily they wouldn't go to McDonalds in the first place. Now Maccas never has any new and funky burgers because they spend the whole time inventing new overpriced salads. >_<

EDIT: Mind you, this whole 'Overweight' and 'Underweight' thing is only a guideline, and isn't specific to the variations in body type. We might actually be perfectly fine at the weight we are now.

Sanity, try the powdered drink mixes that bodybuilders use to gain weight.

Strangely enough, I was once short on money for food, so I made brownies using a box of brownie mix. I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and then ate two brownies every few hours. I managed to lose a little bit of weight that week without feeling hungry. I thik I'm going to try to do this more often since I have relatively little weight to lose.

OK. You are about 6 foot six and weigh 174? If I blew up to your size, I would weigh 350 if that grew proportionately. I see your point :)

Hey, look on the bright side. You can probably slide your hand into an ATM and get cash whenever you want!!

I wish I could give you some of my pounds but I have happilly lost a little lately. On my refrigerator is a new message:

If you aren't really hungry. Don't eat.

See you at the ATM,

Jerry Newport
