- retrograde obit around Saturn, takes 3.6 years to complete
- very low albedo, like fresh asphalt: 0.06

Andromeda Galaxy (M31)
- contains about 1 trillion stars
- Easily visible with the naked eye (apparent magnitude: 3.44)
- Only observed supernova so far in M31 is SN1885A, which reached an
apparent magnitude of only 6.

– So named because it closely resembles a black eye

- Main belt asteorid, size about 54x24x15 km.
- Belongs to the Koronis asteroid family.
- Studied by spacecraft Galileo in 1993 on its way to Jupiter.
