I am beginning to realize boosting your esteem might become dangerous to your soft side. Maybe you just feel good to show off, though. Or be right? I value getting it right too.

If I understand you correctly:

I don't need to be right.
It is enjoyable when it happens, but my focus on The Truth and gaining knowledge/wisdom.
As such, and contrary to popular belief, I don't have much of an ego.

As a part nihilist, what's the point of feeling superior, when there is no meaning in life?
To what end is there in servicing emotional nonsense that has been created by the evolutionary process, and is the result of bio-chemical influences?

The entire notion of fostering a sense of superiority is preposterous. 8)

Display your sexy little ego, skunkii. Your fragile manly beast.

Point: can cover up a small one. Although you are right, it would not be useful.

I love them. I'm old and quite good at doing these myself. I've won a few hearts with my love letters, flowers and poems. :) I married a guy who isn't romantic at all, but he always washed dishes. I'm not known for being subtle. :D

To be honest though. I don't believe in romantic love. Sometimes I wonder if I was not doing role playing, or just driven by the chemicals. People change and chemicals fade. That's sad but OK. I just try to remember the good moments and think how it was all good fun. I am glad that I lived and loved when I was young and don't regret the silly things I did, and I'd do them again.

What ego?

Sneaky like the weed among the cele'
Say they make it big you want it stellar
Bunnies wanna chew your little leaf
In the moonlight, show up for the ra-pa-pa-peritif
Hit and run, you make your stylish game
Wan Wans never get enough, say you lame
Babes be trippin on your tail like they be drunk
But you aren't man, you're just a skunk

Grew it while bathing in the moonlight.

It's a character from an anime show, a wolf girl. Her original name contains Inu in it, which means dog, in her case a b***h. She is known by the nickname of Awoo, as a popular character and a meme.
Just dial Aw00-56709, and she'll be there. ;D

Idk about like traditional ideas of romantic gestures...

I mean my boyfriend probably won't buy me flowers, but that is fine because IDK where we could even put the flowers with all his miniature everywhere in our apartment...But also we appreciate each others company enough. I even think wedding rings are stupid...when we get married we will just get a document and it will be whatever but the way I see it we don't need to be spending our money on rings, we should instead spend it on a cool trip to alaska for the both of us together, he has been there before but I never have so it would be really cool. LOl apparently from what I hear they have so many bald eagles up there they almost see them as pests so it would be very likely for me to see some close up which would be awesome.

Hehe, might be. That reminds me of the makeup brush I used for that purpose and it made me look like a pony with a fancy trimmed tail. Good times.

There's only one way to find out: touch it, see if it twitches.
