Maybe it's more like I want to BE Spiderman. Swinging around NYC looks like fun. I  NYC.

I've learned, through experience, that it's best to avoid people who meow and howl on the subway there, though.

The best line from Corrie EVER:

“Aar, ay, Mrs O, I’ve lost me judy.”

My mum was a huge Corrie fan and I watched what she watched. That line obviously has stuck in your head lol I know who Mrs O is (which Brit over a certain age doesn't) but I don't know who Judy is (I know it's not his wife, dog or chicken) , is it Weathfield slang? Judy is slang for cocaine but I don't think Corrie would have had a plot line like that back then

If you come from Merseyside (like me) your Judy is your girlfriend. I often introduce Mrs Trueno as “me Judy”… which is better than “me tart”… which is another quaint expression from thereabouts. As I don’t have any of my original accent, this produces puzzled looks amongst the Glitterati (?) of West Yorkshire.

I have heard that this was behind Macca’s “ Hey, Jude”… although he claims it was originally “Hey, Jules”, referring to Julian Lennon… I don’t believe a word of it.

The fact that Darth Vader is an option. :lmao:

I have seen male celebrities before and thought 'Huh, I like his energy and his outfits'.

Wyatt Oleff comes to mind.

Eddie Yates and Mrs O, that's a blast from the past.

Mrs O and her muriel on the wall!

Thanks for the explanation, Now I wondering if Ali-G's girlfriend was actually called Julie as he referred to her as 'me Julie', I wonder if that was slang too?
