Two friends who grew old together made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform the other how life after death was. Their biggest fear was that there was no after life at all.
After a long life , Dan was the first to die. Benny mourned him, and waited for him to come and visit. True to his word, two months later, as Benny was sleeping, the voice of Dan appeared in his head.

"Benny...Benny..."

"My gosh... Is that you, Dan?"
"Yes, I've come back like we agreed."
"That's wonderful! What's it like?"
"Well, I get up in the morning, I have intercourse. I have breakfast and then it's off to the golf course. I have intercourse again, bathe in the warm sun and then have intercourse a couple of more times.. Then I have lunch (keeping healthy, lots of greens).
Another romp around the golf course, then pretty much have intercourse the rest of the afternoon. After supper, it's back to the golf course again. Then it's more intercourse until late at night. I catch some much needed sleep and then the next day it starts all over again".
"Wow, Dan! Heaven sounds amazing!" "What heaven? I'm a rabbit somewhere in Arizona."

When I was maybe around five or under, I used to draw depictions of sideways people with side-view crocodile heads. I would draw enter families who had human bodies with crocodile heads. They looked like ancient Egyptian depictions of what I now know to be the god Sobek in their mythology. I wasn't even into crocodiles -- my favorite animals were hamsters or something. I later stopped with the crocodile heads but continued to draw all my humans in side-on poses, like Egyptian figures. I know it's so cliched, the "I was in Ancient Egypt" thing but I didn't even know about that stuff at the time; I was like four.

My mum felt she may have been in the American pioneer days. The odd thing is, later in life I started to be drawn to that history too. When I wound up living in the Southwest, there was an old street in my adopted city that seemed so familiar, aside from all the modern billboards and street signs. just the bones of it, the layout, the curves and the name. I felt like it wasn't new to me but that I'd been long familiar with it and like I was meant to be there again. The name of the street was a word that had always stood out to me for years before I knew it was a street name in that city. There was also another street name there which, as a word/name, had always stood out to me when I heard it in other contexts, long before I knew anything about that city.

I think I was a snake or an alligator. I've had dreams about reptiles frequently especially snakes and alligators. Some form of reptile. :)

^^^that is fascinating... :chin: I had recurring dreams of being a prisoner. then later in life when I visited Alcatraz it had a very familiar feel, especially the solitary cell, as though I had been in a similar one some other place and time.
