Sorry I couldn't respond earlier but the Forum wasn't working.

IQ has one and only one meaning. You might be able to use the word intelligence there,
but I've known people whom I would consider intelligent, yet not intellectually mature.
For example, a young mathematician might have the capability to understand and
grasp concepts that an older one wouldn't, yet not be capable of carrying through with
the work necessary to get a paper published on his own.
You mean like talking to people and communicating? That's still a part of intelligence.

Is this directed at me? I was simply expressing that I'm
tired of trying to explain this. It's not that big a deal to
me.
That was directed at everybody who's ever done that, most of those people on other Forums, but I was assuming you were among them because I just didn't want to debate with myself about whether or not you were doing it, because that goes nowhere, and asking you would have been pointless (You'd either lie or tell the truth), so I just put that out there just in case.

I suspect that emotional maturity is pretty damned close
to what people mean when they speak of maturity, in most
settings. I was simply making a distinction.
What do you mean "Making a distinction"? "Emotional Maturity" and "Maturity" seem to be more or less the same thing to me.
