Called the pub. The reservation actually is real to my surprise.

Needless to say these two women are still single in their 30s and have to prepare to buy 10 cats.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have three cats but I like normal dudes, myself.

Come as you are: Bad Boys, Girly Guys, Nice Guys, Nerds, Punks, Sportos, Motorheads, Geeks, Sluts, Bloods, Wastoids, Dweebies, Dickheads, Righteous Dudes, and the occasional Holy Priest.

Whatever floats your boat is good with me.

Just don't be a dick to other humans, and we'll get along fine.

I think this whole thread is in the broadest sense on the subject of innovative cock blocking it seems. I have to give credit where it's due, the woman is very outside the box though very abusive.

If a main dating tactic involves preventing others from dating rather than improving oneself then it's all the red flag anyone needs. I see men and women do this sometimes.

The term “cock blocking” always gives me visuals akin to sword fighting.

Anyway, yeah, I’ve experienced weird behavior like you described in your post. It’s generally from people who are insecure in some way (or multiple ways).

You watch too much gay porn.

It can be common with certain people sadly. The majority are decent enough to not do it but I'm actually about to call a pub in Caerphilly right now to make sure a table reservation tomorrow at 7pm is actually a reality as I know the pub doesn't insist on reservation despite a woman insisting they do. One of the examples I gave might well be real and applying to me right now......again.

If this reservation isn't in her or my name them I'm making my excuses and chilling out with my friends instead this Saturday.

Are you sure that's her intention? My mother is really anal / OCD and won't go anywhere without a reservation. She's an old lady but she was like that even when I was really young. I'm sure this CB thing happens if you say it does, but how do you know for sure when someone's doing that instead of just being really uptight or particular?

How about the ultimate solution:. Murder.

Murder is only appropriate on rare occasions.

She actually did book a reservation. I thought it was a little strange since it's just a walk in pub but it was booked in her name for the time she said. I'll see how it goes shortly.

I just find it off-putting how clingy she seems despite me saying nothing will ever work out between us. This whole pub thing is supposed to get her out the house and away from her kids for a time being just for a break for her and nothing more.

^False.  Most species of skinks have long, tapering tails they can shed if predators grab onto them.  Such species generally can regenerate the lost part of a tail, though imperfectly.  A lost tail can grow back within around three to four months -- regenerated, not reassembled.

It’s never as good as the original tail.

Yeah . . . the first tail is always the best.
