I don't have a lot.

Have you ever attended a high school reunion of yours? If so, did you enjoy it?

My puzzle was repairing analog TVs.

It's always the flyback transformer driver.... Or the guy with the flamethrower.

I like jigsaw puzzles, especially puzzles of paintings. I like the colours and I like seeing the paintings in new ways.

If you sing or play an instrument, would you play in a group or band, or are you more of a soloist?

I play the spoons and sometimes I like to twang an elastic band

I hold one end between my two front teeth (see avatar for detail) and hook the other end round my thumb and I twang away

I was once in a band. I used to drum on an upside down mop bucket and my band member used to sing about Flash Gordon being the saviour of the universe

What was the last insect you murdered just because you could

I've swatted a few mosquitos in my day but nothing else. I get upset when I accidentally hurt bugs or spiders or snails or what-have-you.

My father used to collect insects and I found the process of trapping and mounting disturbing. You'd have this beautiful secret world under the plum tree, for example, all blooming and lively, and then you'd notice the sickly sweet scent of the poison and you'd look and find the little cup of the dead and the dying and the whole scene would suddenly seem quite macabre.

But I also have a memory of sitting with a slightly older boy by the gate to the back block while he pulled a worm apart. I was sorry for the worm but curious about why he was doing it.

Same question.

Sometimes.

If you cook, do you remember the first thing you cooked by yourself, and what was it?

Hell no.
We ate everything on the plate unless we were ill.
I think the parents learned quickly not to feed me celery, artichoke or raw onion.
I think I was excused from eating tripe once.

What is the most revolting thing you've managed to keep down?

Old meat with extra protein.

I don't know if anything I've ever eaten I can describe as "luxurious" or "exquisite."

Are you good at playing card games? If you are, which card games?

I use to play rummy and poker with my family. I played rummy with my older sister and our Nanna. I did okay. The women were sharks. Poker I played with my mom, stepdad, brother, and sometimes older sister. We played for pennies, and I never ever took the game as serious as the grown ups.
And of course Solitaire.

If you were painting, what kind of paint would you use?
I know that is vague.
