Just for men and not women?

It’s just that you said earlier rich women wouldn’t have anything to do with men of lower society. Not sure if that applied to gratuitous hookups with pirates etc, or not.

I mean define rich. Most women expect a guy to be able to provide for themselves by a certain age.

I know a woman who is divorced with two kids and is 43. She's a medical doctor in the US. Her ex husband cheated on her with prostitutes it was not her fault.

She would tell you a similar line, except adapted to women.

My exh cheated on me with men.

I did OK financially.

Hmmm gated community, $2m + homes, > $1m annual household income (both partners), Private schools and Ivy league Universities is probably enough to qualify.

Owning more than one home, all fully paid off, and with enough money invested that your stipend from interest is in the six-figure range per year so that you do not have to provide goods or services to in exchange for money.

Just a WAG on my part, though.

I think "rich" is a relative term. Some people are richer than others, and someone who might not seem rich to one person might seem rich to another. I don't think it's possible to clearly define what constitutes "rich." Also, most people don't reveal their wealth or income, and the outward signs of their wealth might reflect someone living beyond their means who is actually in debt. Or someone who lives frugally might seem not-rich but actually be quite comfortable.

As a professional "foreign looking" expat living in Malaysia, I was automatically considered rich by just walking in the street in a suit. the reality was I was renting. both the suit and my home.
