Last night I had a dream that I woke up to a white Christmas. There were gingerbread houses and Christmas trees all around. It was nice seeing my world in a dream.

I had a dream in which I was choking on a piece of food. :| This was what really happened to me this Christmas. I was really close to death and joining my grandma, my two aunts and Erik Medhus in the afterlife :x

The choking of a piece of turkey meat episode was first and the dream was luckily, just the natural consequence of the trauma that followed it :| I am seriously afraid of eating now and I will undergo a gastroscopy soon to check what it is - Chat GPT claims it's most likely an upper esophageal web - it is a thin, flap-like membrane of tissue growing across the inside of the upper esophagus, just below the throat, causing difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) solid foods by catching them. :x  I seriously thought it was my last moments of life but my mom started to hit me on my back with all her might and I managed to spit the goddamned turkey meat out 8O I generally did have problems with swallowing bigger pieces of food for the last months but I thought it';s just my imagination - but no, after this Christmas time life threatening episode, I can't wait to see the gastrologist and undergo the gastroscopy :?

I am very sorry you had such a scare, Irulan :( I hope your doctors will get it sorted out very quickly.

I consulted Chat GPT so far and in the next week, I'll see a doctor about it indeed. I already go to a gastrologist because I have IBS.

I was in the field behind the barn of my grandparents and I was playing there with queen Jadwiga  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jadwiga_of_Poland She was four in this dream and very naughty and playful. And I remember there was a bear in this dream and I was afraid of it.

Not really, to tell the truth. I remember I wasn't very shocked by the death of the dogs, though. It just happened and that's all.

I am guessing there is a useful life meaning in it just the same, even if the reaction was not dramatic.

I generally dream about my grandparents' farm a LOT - but I never dream about the flat I live in - like really never ever.
