Seriously... Peafowl are outside birds.
It's hard enough mopping up their Mr. Whippys from the veranda, and if you have a male he will need more than 4 square metres in which to pretend to be a radar dish.

My bedroom has about as much peacock as you want.

Is it true there is a superstition that the peacock feathers bring their owner a big amount of bad luck? I read about it as a child in one book by L. M. Montgomery but I don't think it's a superstition known in my country

Btw, another random fact about my room: I have a new printer on my desk now

I saw a peacock once. I seem to remember it being outside my window but I might be making that up

I don't have a printer in my room but I do have a big table for jigsaws or arts and crafts etc etc

I never had an occassion to see a peacock (though my elderly neighbors' last name is translated as Peacock, in Polish it would be Paw which is also slang for vomiting - when you vomit, you release a peacock ) - but in my deceased aunt's village one family does keep peacocks - my mom heard them once and instantly recognized this sound. I checked it on Youtube and indeed, it's a very unpleasand sound for a bird looking that cuuuute

i've done the de-plastering and re-plastering, and wiring, but somehow can't get around to finish the last bit by the stairs
